Upcoming DVD Details

AnimEigo producer Shin Kurokawa has confirmed that the subtitled Macross TV series DVDs will contain the original Japanese eyecatch sequences that were edited out of “Robotech.” Furthermore, the AnimEigo Macross DVDs will support the DVD progressive frame by frame scan feature.

Bandai DVD producer Charles McCarter has revealed that the upcoming DVD version of the Gundam 08th MS Team OAV series will be uncut and will include the bonus supplemental animation exclusively contained on the Japanese laserdisc release. The American MS08 DVDs will also feature reversible covers. One side will feature the mobile suits, illustrated by mecha artist Kouji Sugiura, and the other side will feature the characters of MS08, with art done by Toshihiro Kawamoto.
