Shaman King Anime

Japanese Manga magazine Shonen Jump has revealed that an anime TV series adaptation of Takei Hiroyuki’s popular Shaman King manga serial will premier on Wednesday, July 4th at 6:30 PM, a timeslot that has been home to such popular TV series as Dragonball and One Piece. Shaman King is an action/adventure story in the vein of Hunter X Hunter and One Piece about a boy named Yoh who seeks to become the Shaman King by allowing spirits to posses his body and fight in the “Shaman Fight” tournament.
