First Kan Colle Anime Spot Released

Kadokawa has released the first anime trailer for next year’s Kantai Collection anime television series. The adaptation of the massively popular Kantai Collection -Kan Colle- online card game depicts Japanese WWII era battleships as anthropomophized girls. Dog Days, Inukami, and Ro-Kyu-Bu! director Keizou Kusakawa will direct the anime at studio Diomedea (Squid Girl, Mondaiji Tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru soudesuyo?) for a January 2015 premiere.
