David Williams of AD Vision has confirmed that Orange Road: Summer’s Beginning, the second Kimagure Orange Road movie (also known as Shin Kimagure Orange Road), will be released to DVD on August 12th.

Pioneer is tentatively planning to debut Yoshitoshi Abe’s comedy TV series NieA_7 in America this August. The 13 episode TV series from the character designer of Lain is a dramatic comedy about a poor Japanese girl and her alien room-mate.

Representatives from Manga Entertainment at last weekend’s Anime Central convention admitted that after comparing the domestic Wings of Honneamise DVD to the Japanese version, Manga Entertainment is now receptive to the possibility of re-mastering their DVD version of the film. Manga had previously stated that no new version of the domestic Royal Space Force DVD would be pressed, although fan criticism has conclusively proven that the image quality of the disc was flawed during the DVD manufacturing process.
