San Diego Comic Con Figures

Import action figures were shown off in force at this weekend’s San Diego Comic Con. Kaiyodo had on display the Cowboy Bebop Spike Spiegel figure, which will be released in America in new American packaging at a significantly reduced price over the Japanese version, new and re-packaged Evangelion figures, and Trigun toys including the prototype Meryl Strife figure and figure “bust” statue capsule toys.

Toycom showed off the prototype of their domestic produced 12″ Trigun Vash the Stampede doll with alternate arms, die-cast revolver and cloth coat, due out later this year with a retail price of $29.99. Toycom also introduced their plans for a line of die-cast “Hero Collection” super robots including Mazinger, Great Mazinger, Getta Robo Dragon and Getta Robo 1, due out in November.
