The Next Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon?

According to Ain’t It Cool News, on August 15th Jet Li will begin shooting his next film, Hero, in mainland China under the direction of Zhang Yimou, best known for his critically acclaimed period piece art films including Raise the Red Lantern, Red Sorghum, The Story of Qiu Ju, and To Live. The martial arts/historical fantasy epic also stars Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung. According to the report, Li took a pay cut to work on the film for a chance to play the dramatic, psychological and tragic lead character.
