Masamune Shirow Interview Online

The English language Kodansha Publishing website has published a short interview with Masamune Shirow regarding the new Japanese publication of the completed Ghost in the Shell 2: Man-Machine Interface manga.

Shirow mentions in the interview that he is currently working on the layout of the foreign edition of the 200 page all color manga story, and that Mamoru Oshii’s second Ghost in the Shell anime movie will be based on the Section 9 police force of the first GitS movie and not an adaptation of the Man-Machine Interface manga story.
