Matrix Anime?

It’s been revealed that Warner Bros. and the Wachowski brothers are preparing a 2 1/2 hour documentary for home video release called The Matrix Revisited. The video/DVD, which is scheduled to hit stores on November 20 will include extensive interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and sneak peeks at The Matrix Reloaded and the still prepping Matrix III. Furthermore, According to Cinescape, Andy and Larry Wachowski have urged unspecified Japanese anime directors to create episodes inspired by the first Matrix film for worldwide home video release in late 2002 or early 2003 under the title Matrix Anime. Ain’t It Cool News now reports that Squaresoft is directly involved in the Matrix Anime project, a 10 minute, totally CGI prequel to The Matrix Reloaded.
