After a year of vacation, Chow Yun Fat will return to acting when shooting on the American produced film Bulletproof Monk begins next month. The movie will be co-produced by John Woo. In the film Yun Fat will play a Tibetan monk who takes a young western protegee, played by Sean William Scott, under his wing.

Donnie Yen has finished his acting work in Guillermo Del Toro’s Blade 2, and is now scheduled to possibly appear as a villain in two upcoming big budget action films. He will fight Jet Li during the conclusion of Zhang Yimou’s “Hero,” and may possibly appear opposite Jackie Chan and Owen Willson in “Shanghai Knights.” Yen has fought Jet Li on camera once before, in the phenonemal climactic fight of Once Upon a Time in China 2.
