Latest Word on Astroboy Movie

According to the latest news from industry magazine Variety, Sony has decided to change the tentative production of their American live action Astroboy movie to a full CG production, partially influenced by the success of Monsters, Inc. and Shrek. Eric Leighton, who co-directed Disney’s “Dinosaur,” will direct Sony’s Astroboy from a script by Todd Alcott (“Antz”) and Ken Kaufman (“Space Cowboys”).
