R.O.D. and Kaidoumaru Licensed?

According to Anime Tourist, “reliable sources” claim that Manga Entertainment has acquired the translation rights to the 3-part OVA series Read or Die (R.O.D.) and Production I.G.’s full-digital OVA Kaidoumaru. Two episodes of R.O.D. are currently available in Japan with the third episode due out next month. The stunning big budget action/espionage thriller has already developed a strong fan base in America through fansub distribution. Kai-Do-Maru is the follow up to Blood: The Last Vampire, and the second full digital anime created by Production I.G. Kai-Do-Maru is a samurai action story loosely based on a famous Japanese legend.
