Initial D on American TV?

According to Animation Magazine, TOKYOPOP will be shopping around the Initial D and Samurai Girl: Real Bout High School anime series to television network buyers and broadcasters at the upcoming National Association of Television Program Executives convention to be held in Las Vegas on the 21st through 24th. This does not mean that either series will ever see American television broadcast. This means only that TOKYOPOP is interested in acquiring a buyer for American television broadcast rights to these series.
