New Anime Editing Reports

According to the Anime No Editing Zone, Urban Vision’s second DVD volume of Strange Dawn has been edited to remove the original Japanese ending theme song and replace it with an original instrumental theme. Also, the “eyecatch” animation found in the original Japanese version episodes has been edited out of all American versions.

The Anime No Editing Zone also reports that RSI’s American release of Boogiepop Phantom seems to be the slightly less graphic version of the series broadcast on Japanese television rather than the Japanese home video version.
