Publishers Weekly Covers Manga

Print industry periodical Publishers Weekly has published an interesting article about the domestic manga market. The article confirms that Viz does have plans to issue collected graphic novel collections of the manga serialized in Shonen Jump USA. The article also confirms that while manga is certainly hot, and steadily becoming more and more marketable, manga is still not “mainstream” in America. It, “still hasn’t reached mass market numbers.”
