CPM Announcements from Anime Expo

At this past weekend’s Anime Expo convention, Central Park Media announced its acquisition of the just concluded Narue no Sekai anime TV series.

Tomoko Taniguchi’s latest manga, Popcorn Romance, will debut in English in October. The Call Me Princess, Aquarium, Dark Angel and Nadesico manga are to be re-released in pocket-sized, $9.99 editions. The Lodoss War: Lady of Pharis manga will be re-issued with an additional 80 new pages from the recent revised Japanese edition.

The final Utena TV series DVD will include an audio commentary track from creators Kunihiko Ikuhara & Chiho Saito. The Spirit Warrior (Peacock King) DVDs will include audio commentary from director Rintaro.
