Jubei-chan 2 Announced

Madhouse Studios of Japan has confirmed that a sequel to the 1999 Jubei-chan: Lovely Gantai no Himitsu (Jubei-chan: Secret of Lovely Eyepatch) anime TV series is in the works. Madhouse Studios president Masao Maruyama confirmed at last weekend’s Otakon convention that Akitaro Daichi will return to direct “Jubei-chan 2: Siberia Yagyu no Gyakushuu” (Siberia Yagyu’s Counterattack) but the series will have a new character designer.
