First Look at Space Battleship Yamato Rebirth

The official homepage for the Space Battleship Yamato Rebirth Chapter anime now hosts a 47 second long Windows Media preview of the animation due out next year. The new anime is a joint Japanese and Korean production (and looks it) being supervised by Nishizaki Yoshinori, who was legally granted the right to call himself creator of the Uchuu Senkan Yamato anime franchise in a Japanese court ruling last April. (Presently, in a legal sense Leiji Matsumoto is considered creator of the Yamato concept and manga, but not creator of the animation franchise.) The preview is available in (from left to right) high quality broadband, low quality broadband, and narrowband resolutions.
