John Woo to Produce Metroid Movie

According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Woo’s production company Tiger Hill has secured the option to produce a live action Metroid movie. John Woo will produce the origin of Samus film, and possibly direct as well. Tiger Hill and Nintendo plan to develop the film as a big-budget franchise picture for international release.
