FUNimation Explains Detective Conan Release

According to Anime News Network, FUNimation representative Jeff Dronen has confirmed that the second “Case Closed” (Detective Conan) DVD released in America will contain Japanese episodes 53, 54 and 55, the first 3 episodes of Japanese TV season 3, “To give fans a look at episodes that will not have been seen on television, yet.”

Although the American DVD release will present episodes out of their correct sequential order, the Cartoon Network’s television broadcast will air the episodes in the proper sequential order.
