DVD Vision Japan Opens Cosplay Mascot Contest

DVD Vision Japan.com, in association with AN Entertainment, AnimeNation.com, Central Park Media, FUNImation, Artsmagic DVD, SquirrelWorks.com, AnimEigo and VIZ Entertainment, has opened its “Mascot Idol” contest. DVD Vision Japan is seeking one female cosplayer to portray its “samurai office lady” mascot character Sakura. The winner will be expected to attend the 2005 Otakon, AnimeUSA, and Katsucon 2006 conventions in full costume within, and take photos with company representatives, convention guests, etc. The winner will recieve paid admission to all three cons, a basket full of prizes, a fitted Sakura samurai costume, and $50.00 cash for Otakon 2005.
