Media Blasters Announcements from Otakon

At this past weekend’s Otakon convention Media Blasters announced plans to begin localizing and distributing computer and Game Boy games in the future. Media Blasters’ first game titles will probably be related to titles they distribute on DVD.

Media Blasters CEO John Sirabella stated at the convention that, “He didn’t foresee anymore episodes of [Twelve Kingdoms] being made.” There was also no news on plans for more Berserk anime.

Media Blasters confirmed having distribution rights to the four most recent live action Kekko Kamen movies, but has encountered difficulties in trying to license distribution rights to live action Japanese television series including GTO.
