AD Vision Announcements from Katsucon

At this past weekend’s Katsucon convention AD Vision did not announce any anime titles that they have not publicly confirmed before. Virtually forgotten titles such as The Samurai (a license first announced 3-4 years ago) were confirmed again, though. According to a follow-up post on the Anime on DVD Forum, though, an AD Vision representative seems to have provided the first ever confirmation that AD Vision does indeed own the translation license to the fourth Slayers movie, Slayers Gorgeous. The original word about the US license of the Slayers movies dating back several years has always cited AD Vision with only movies 2 & 3 and the second OAV series but not movie 4. There is still no word on an American license for the recent movie 5, Slayers Premium.

New live action licenses from AD Vision include Gamera vs Legion and Gamera 3: Incomplete Struggle, Princess Blade and a third Japanese title that may be Yokai Hunter Sakuya.

The DVD release of Excel Saga in America will include extensive supplementary material and 5 subtitle tracks!
