AD Vision Announces Details of Evangelion Director’s Cut DVD 1

AD Vision has officially announced that the first of two Evangelion Director’s Cut DVDs will be released on January 13, 2004. The “Resurrection,” DVD will include the original TV broadcast versions of Evangelion episodes 21-23 and the extended Japanese home video versions of these episodes.

The $29.98 DVD will also include a 25-minute interview with Richard Taylor, co-founder and head of Effects and Creatures at Weta Workshop, regarding the progress of the live action Evangelion movie. Also included are numerous never-before-seen production images from the upcoming film.
