AD Vision News from Sakura Con

At last weekend’s Sakura Con convention, AD Vision confirmed that they do not have distribution rights to Super GALS! Kotobuki Ran episodes 27-52.

AD Vision presently has no definite plans for video releases for the Playstation Portable.

The video on demand format Anime Network is “doing incredibly well,” but interest in the linear version of the Anime Network from cable providers is minimal.

AD Vision is considering releasing DVD series sets with extras like bookets removed, presumably in order to offer slightly lower retail prices.

AD Vision representatives confirmed that “magical girl” and “old school” anime simply don’t sell well in America.

AD Vision announced no new anime title acquisitions at the convention.
