AD Vision Revises ADV Mini DVD Info

The first line of AD Vision’s “AniMini” sampler DVDs are scheduled for release tomorrow. This past weekend AD Vision informed retailers that the suggested retail price of each AniMini DVD has decreased from $9.99 to $6.98. Furthermore, although the AniMini DVD packaging does not mention the offer, each AniMini DVD is redeemable for $10 off the full suggested retail price of a normal, multi-episode DVD of the same title when purchased from the AD Vision website.

The AniMini DVDs contain one English dubbed episode only with no subtitles or DVD menu. Oddly, the Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat AniMini DVD is listed as including one episode and having a 30 minute DVD running time, but each episode of Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat is only 6 minutes long.

For comparative purposes, Central Park Media’s “Test Drive” sampler DVDs retail at $7.99, include 2 bilingual episodes, and are valid for $10 off the full retail price of the same series complete set. FUNimation has announced a line of presumably English dubbed only sampler DVDs that will contain one episode and retail at $4.99 each.
