ADV, FUNimation and Geneon Join Forces

AD Vision, FUNimation, and Geneon have officially announced a partnership to develop and distribute “high quality entertainment series primarily targeted to children and young adults” to American consumers. The press announcement provides no further details. Japanese owned company Geneon, and AD Vision have co-financed the production of numerous Japanese created anime series. AD Vision also owns an animation production studio that works with Korean animators. Together, these three companies control 70% of the anime released to the American market.
