ALC to Put Publishing on Hiatus

ALC Publishing president Erica Friedman has announced that although her affection for the yuri (lesbian) romance genre has not waned, she will cease serving as the events chairperson for the Yuricon convention, and ALC Publishing will not be acquiring or publishing any new manga translations in for foreseeable future. Friedman cites her withdrawl from the business side of manga publishing and the otaku community due to a practical inability to continue operating with insufficient resources & responses from consumers, fans, and potential business partners.
