American Live-Action Metal Gear Solid Movie Announced

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has formally confirmed that X-Men, Spider-Man, and Iron Man film producer Avi Arad will produce an American live-action Metal Gear Solid movie funded by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

I understand that nobody wants to risk making a big-budget CG Metal Gear Solid movie, but a full CG picture makes so much more sense than attempting a live-action adaptation.
