American Live Action St. Seiya in Development?

The IMDB reports that director Joseph Merhi will helm the production of a live action St. Seiya movie for American release on home video in fall 2010. Spanish language movie news site Peliculas.info reports that “Saint Seiya Knights of the Zodiac: The Movie Chapter I – Hope from the Stars” is being produced by Omega Entertainment. Peliculas.info also reports an unconfirmed cast including:

Rafael Bailão as Pegasus Seiya
Steve Byers as Swan Hyoga
David Walton as Unicorn Jabu
Nick Cornish as Wolf Nachi
Nadia Bjorlin as Saori
(tentatively) Randall Duk Kim as Libra Dohko
(tentatively) Rita Cadillac as Eagle Marin

Personally, I’m going to consider this a very unconfirmed and highly suspect rumor until I see an official statement confirming the production.
