American Manga to Appear in CosmoGIRL Magazine

The USA Today newspaper reports that this week’s issue of CosmoGIRL Magazine will contain the debut of a monthly manga-style comic strip by artist Svetlana Chmakova and publisher TOKYOPOP. CosmoGIRL Magazine has 6 million readers, so the new “Adventures of CG” comic will introduce many new consumers to American manga-style comics and possibly lead to increased awareness of English translated Japanese manga.
