Animators Get Emmy Nods

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the names of the four recipients of individual achievement awards in animation. A panel of judges named the following winners:

• Production designer Maciek Albrecht for the “Brahms’ Lullaby & Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” episode of HBO’s Goodnight Moon and Other Sleepytime Tales
• Art director Nelson Lowry for the “How the Super Stoled Christmas” episode of Fox’s The PJs
• Art director Don Shank for the “Twisted Sister/Cover Up” episode of Cartoon Network’s The Powerpuff Girls
• Color Stylist Bari Kumar for the “A Bicyclops Built for Two” episode of Fox’s Futurama

These winners will receive their awards August 26 as part of the Creative Arts Awards portion of the annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
