Anime Director Ryutaro Nakamura Passes Away

The family of anime director Ryutaro Nakamura has confirmed that 58-year-old Nakamura passed away on June 29, dying of pancreatic cancer. Nakamura directed anime including the 1992 children’s film Chibi Neko Tom no Daibouken, and anime television series including Sakura Taisen, Kino no Tabi, Serial Experiments Lain, and Shinrei Gari ~ Ghost Hound.
