Anchor Bay Entertainment, the distributors of the “Warriors of the Wind” cut of the Miyazaki classic Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind, had announced their intention to release the uncut feature on DVD. The release now looks in doubt. A representative from the Miyazaki Mailing List receive a response from Anchor Bay stating, “It is currently being held up due to rights negotiations with another company in order to release the full length original cut. We still do have the right to release Warriors of the Wind but will not be pursuing that option.”

Funimation has announced dates for their first Dragon Ball Z DVDs. Dragonball Z Vol. 18 and Vol. 19 are due out July 1st. Volume 18 looks to have 3 episodes (70 minutes) while volume 19 may have four, as it is listed with an 84 minute running time. Both will have Japanese and English audio tracks and retail for $24.95 each.
