Anime Producer Touyou Ikeda Has Passed Away

Voice actress Junko Iwao revealed yesterday that anime producer Touyou Ikeda passed away on February 17, despite still being in his 30s. Ikeda served as an assistant producer for the 2000 Gatekeepers and 2003 Kaleidostar television series, and produced Gonzo’s 2007 Romeo × Juliet television series before founding the Encourage Films anime studio, in 2008, that has worked on series including Symphogear, Tamayura ~hitotose~, and the currently airing Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Soudesuyo?
