AnimEigo Announces New Licenses

AnimEigo has announced its acquisition of distribution rights to six live action Japanese films:

Japan’s Longest Day (A.K.A. The Emperor and The General)
A New Love in Tokyo
The Trail of Blood
The Fearless Avenger
Slaughter in the Snow
Shogun Assassin

Shogun Assassin is actually a 1980 American re-edit of Toho’s Lone Wolf & Cub movies 1 & 2, with an original English dub. AnimEigo will produce an entirely new print of the movie using its remastered footage from the original Japanese source movies.
