Aniplex Cancels Only Blu-ray Disc

Japan’s AV Watch has reported that Aniplex has canceled plans to release the Blood: The Last Vampire Digital Master movie on Blu-ray disc in Japan. The disc was scheduled for release on the 22nd, and was anime distributor Aniplex’s only scheduled Blu-ray title. Aniplex has reportedly expressed an intention to observe market trends before committing to entering the Blu-ray field.
