Another Version of Evangelion 1.0 Surfaces

The Mainchi Newspaper reports that NTV producer Nozumu Takahashi has confirmed that the version of the Evangelion 1.0: You are (Not) Alone motion picture that will air on the network in Japan this Friday will have a modified ending, making this the third alternate version of the movie. The movie was released in a “1.0” version theatrically in 2007. It was released on Japanese home video in 2008 in a revised “1.01” version.

This week’s TV broadcast of the first movie coincides with last week’s tremendously successful theatrical opening of the second of four planned Rebuild of Evangelion movies.
