AntiMagic Academy Anime Announced

Kadokawa has announced that Toki Yanagimi’s light novel series AntiMagic Academy “The 35th Test Platoon” (Tai-Madou Gakuen: 35 Shiken Shoutai) will receive an anime adaptation. The novel series is set in an era when magic users have been nearly extinguished by new generations of soldiers that use firearms. The series stars a military school student who still uses a sword instead of a gun and is training to become a “witch” hunter. The light novel series premiered in 2012 and currently has 9 volumes.
