The July 14th issue of Entertainment Weekly has an interview with “live action anime girl” Apollo Smile under the “Anime Magnetism” heading of their Internet section. The preface mentions the recent release of her second indie album Wrecking Ball, and her internet following at her official site, as well as fan sites. The interview itself was pretty light. It mentions that her largest anime influence was Iria, and that her birth name was Paula Scharf, which was legally changed 12 years ago.
