Appleseed DVD Records Strong Sales

Geneon has revealed that in the three weeks since its release, the three different American DVD editions of the Appleseed movie have a combined sales of over 85,000 units, putting the title in position to be one of 2005’s best selling anime DVDs.

The statistic is also informative because it reveals a rough estimate of the high end of American anime DVD sales figures.
