Question:
How much Trigun manga is out there? I have been told that there is 2 or 3 series of Trigun manga. Is this true? Also, has anyone picked up the rights to the mangas yet.

Answer:
There are currently 11 collected volumes of Trigun manga in Japan. The first 3 volumes are titled “Trigun.” Volumes 4-11 are titled “Trigun Maximum.” The manga was originally published by Shonen Captain Comics. When publication rights to the series were transferred to Young King Comics, the series’ title was altered slightly to signify the change in publisher. The Trigun manga is still ongoing in the monthly Young King Ours manga magazine.

According to Trigun creator Yasuhiro Nightow in an interview with Raijin Comics published last December, the Trigun manga has been licensed for official English language release, but so far no American publisher has corroborated this report.
