I have heard that there is an uncut version of Fist Of The North Star that is almost 3 hours long, is that true?

Answer:
I’ve heard this rumor, but it has no basis in fact. There is no extended version version of the Hokuto no Ken motion picture. The 109 episode TV series ran on Japanese television from 1984 until 1988. Beside the motion picture, there was also one feature-length TV movie. The version of the Fist of the North Star movie released by Streamline, beside being dubbed, did not have any footage removed from it, unlike many of the other Streamline dubs. Hopefully this will clear up some confusion.
