BAAF Voice Acting Contest Announced

The Big Apple Anime Fest has announced its sponsorship of the “Big Apple Anime Fest ‘Anime Idol’ Voice Acting Contest.” The grand prize winner of the contest will earn 15 DVDs, $500 for travel expenses, and a paying role in an upcoming professional English language anime dub. Preliminary auditions open to contestants age 18 and over will be held at Anime Boston, Anime Central, Otakon, and at BAAF itself. Final competition will take place on Sunday, August 31 at the Big Apple Anime Fest in Times Square, New York City. For more information, read the BAAF’s press release and official rules.
