Bandai Announcements from Anime Expo

At this past weekend’s Anime Expo convention, Bandai Entertainment announced its acquisition of domestic distribution rights to the Mai-Hime/My-Hime anime series (Japan’s TV Tokyo television network romanizes the title as “Mai-Hime.” Production studio Sunrise romanizes the title as “My-Hime.”) and the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny television series.

Apparently Bandai Entertainment will be releasing the first English language Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Official Log book and DVD combination. Manga Entertainment has previously announced distribution of this book. Bandai also confirmed that its first Official Log will be a 128 page book and 40 minute long DVD. The original Japanese edition is a 144 page book and 90 minute long DVD.
