Bandai Announcements From Anime Expo
At this past weekend’s Anime Expo convention, Bandai Entertainment announced its acquisition of distribution rights to the 52 episode Hayate the Combat Butler (Hayate no Gotoku!) television series from 2007, and Ranmaru Kotone’s manga adaptation of the Girl Who Leapt through Time anime film.
The 7th and final volume of the Freedom OVA series will not be released separately in America. Instead, the entire Freedom OVA series will be released domestically in a Blu-ray boxed set retailing at $139.98, followed by a standard DVD release as a double disc set and two individual discs.
The Gunbuster compilation movies will debut on American Blu-ray disc on November 25th at $49.98 each or $99.98 as a set.
The first season of the Mobile Suit Gundam OO television will begin American television broadcast on the Sci-Fi Channel’s Ani-Monday block in November. The Sci-Fi Channel will air two new episodes per week for 13 weeks.
