Bandai Announcements from NY Anime Festival

At this past weekend’s New York Anime Festival, Bandai Entertainment announced its acquisition of distribution rights to director Mamoru Hosoda’s acclaimed 2006 anime motion picture Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo (“The Girl Who Leapt Through Time”). The film will get a limited theatrical release prior to its American home video release.

Bandai also announced that the popular Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion anime television series, licensed by Bandai earlier this year, will air on Adult Swim.
