Battle of the Planets Inc. Established

Sandy Frank Entertainment, the company responsible for originally bringing the Gatchaman anime TV series to America in the late 1970s, has announced the establishment of a new corporation called “Battle of the Planets Inc.” The new company will focus entirely on marketing the English dubbed Gatchaman anime in America, including a DVD boxed set to be released this June in association with Rhino Home Video, video games, toys, trading cards, apparel, a new 53 episode TV show combining original 1972 Gatchaman footage with newly created American animation, and new American Battle of the Planets animated films created by Canadian studio Ocean Productions.
