Berserk Manga Licensed

Fanboy Entertainment has confirmed with Japanese publisher Hakusensha that Kentaru Muira’s 19 volume Berserk manga series has been officially licensed for translation and distribution in America. Because the licensee has made no official announcement of their acquisition yet, it remains unknown which translating firm owns the US rights to the serial or when it will see publication in the US. The Berserk manga has been a consistent bestselling title in Japan, and many anime fans are familiar with its excellent, albeit somewhat different, anime television series adaptation. Gamers will be familiar with the Sword of the Berserk: Guts’ Rage Dreamcast game.
