Bihada Ichizoku Anime Announced

The “obi” advertising wrap found on the latest volume of the “Junai Cosmetic Comic: Bihada Ichizoku” (Pure Love Cosmetic Comic: Beautiful Skin Family) manga series announces that the story will be adapted into an anime television series.

The Bihada Ichizoku concept was created by cosmetics company Love Labo and Bandai as a promotional tool for Love Labo’s line of Bihada Ichizoku cosmetics. The concept debuted as advertising imagery and developed into a manga story about an annual “World Beautiful-Skin Competition.” The Bihada Ichizoku manga series debuted in November 2007 as a bonus premium with packages of beauty masks. The first beauty mask skin care product with bonus manga volume sold 120,000 copies.
