Boku wa Ousama TV Anime Announced
|Writer Teruo Teramura and artist Shizuko Wakayama’s beloved series of “Ousama” (His Royal Highness) children’s books will get its first television anime on April 6. Toei adapted the series into four 10-minute OVAs in 2006. The best-selling and award winning franchise of roughly 50 books revolving around a self-centered, boastfull king who loves eating eggs and hates studying premiered in 1959.
